Senior Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications throughout the full development lifecycle.
• Utilize expertise in Java/J2EE, microservices, and Spring Boot framework to architect and implement scalable solutions.
• Develop front-end components using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS for user interface enhancement.
• Create and consume RESTful services for seamless data exchange.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement J2EE architecture best practices.

 

Skills Required

• Java/J2EE Expertise: 6+ years of experience using Java, JSP, and SQL in an object-oriented programming environment.
• Microservices: Experience designing and implementing microservices-based architecture.
• Spring Boot Framework: Proficiency in developing applications using Spring Boot framework.
• Front-End Development: 2+ years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSON, and XML for front-end development.
• RESTful Services: 2+ years of experience creating and consuming RESTful services.
• Source Control: 2+ years of experience with IBM Rational Team Concert, SVN, or Git for source control.
• CI/CD Practices: Experience implementing or utilizing CI/CD practices using Jenkins or similar tools.
• J2EE Architecture: Experience with J2EE architecture preferred.
• WSAD and Websphere: Experience with WSAD and IBM WebSphere preferred.
• Operating Systems: Familiarity with Windows NT, UNIX, and Visual Basic is a plus.
